About Long Hou Foods

Long Hou Foods, founded in 1993, initially supplying western food items, canned goods and groceries to hotels and restaurants in the metropolitan Taichung.  To meet the needs of a rapidly expanding customer base, the business transformed itself to a well-organized enterprise.

The Import Department was established in 1994 to take charge of importing and distributing canned goods to distributors, retailers, and warehouse stores all across Taiwan.  The delivery services for northern and southern Taiwan were later assigned to logistic service companies to achieve the goal of improving service quality to hotels and restaurants in central Taiwan.

Long Hou Foods was relocated to the Taichung Industrial Park in 2006.  Along with the establishment of the Department of Research & Development and the Department of Manufacturing, the brand name Happy Chef was created.  Happy Chef reflects our core objective of promoting fine food by solving whatever problem a chef may face in the kitchen. To approach the diversification of service and development, Chef Teh Enterprise Co., Ltd was established in 2010 to make efforts in providing gourmand Food.

While the ISO22000 and HACCP were certified in 2011, Long Hou Foods also obtained the certificate of HALAL from Taipei Grand Mosque (Taiwan) in 2012, so as to reach complete quality management and to provide safe and high quality products for all customers.  Our main concepts for Safety Foods are Honesty, Safety, Progress, and Devotion. Through enhancing product quality and gaining competitiveness, we provide customers with the safest and top quality products.
